Ken Forwarded the question:
---
I have a question. It's really quick and easy but I'm lazy and
to tired to
look it up or send mail to your TR3 specialist. The question
is, Is british
racing green one of the original colors for a 1959 TR3A?
---
According to Bill Piggott, Table 5, page 55, from Sept. 1958
(TS37000) BRG was one of the colours provided. Trim was either
Red, Silverstone Grey, or Targo Purple. Hood was either White,
Black or Beige. It should also be noted that Triumph's BRG of
this era was not as dark as most BRGs we see on other cars.
Cheers
Keith
