The Vintage Triumph Register is looking for someone to fill the newly
created post of Advertising Manager (AM).
Primary responsibilities would include liaison with the editor of _The
Vintage Triumph_ magazine as well as the editor of "The English Channel"
section of TVT, and our Publisher, as well as with present and potential
advertisers for display advertisements appearing in the magazine.
Working with present advertisers and the editors and publisher, the AM
would track current ads and be responsible for ensuring that ads are
updated as appropriate, forwarded in a timely manner to the editors and
publisher, and that ads are paid for as per agreement with the advertiser
and VTR.
The AM would also be the primary contact person for "appropriate"
(Triumph-related) vendors wishing to initiate display advertising in TVT.
Whenever possible, the AM would solicit potential advertisers as well.
<<<NOTE: this position applies only to commercial display advertising in
TVT. Classified ads appearing in TEC/TVT, and VTR ads for regalia and book
service items, are separate responsibilities.>>>
Qualifications: experience in this field would be helpful, but enthusiasm
is equally welcomed. Applicants should be current VTR members. E-mail
capacity is pretty much mandatory, to ensure quick interaction with the
editors, the publisher, and other members of the VTR Board.
Interested applicants should send a short resume to me at the e-mail
address listed below.
