Dear All,
I am very impressed with the positive and helpful group that is on this
mailing list. Well as you can tell by all of this buttering up, I'm
looking for something. First the easy stuff, your thoughts. I'm looking
at a 71Spitfire that is currently in Las Vegas. This was supposedly a
florida car and is reported to be in good shape.
Questions:
1.) What do I ask about on this year car?
2.) What are the common things that go wrong with this car?
3.) Any suggestions on how to check out this car from my home in
Minneapolis?
4.) Any other suggestions?
Now the big question. I there any British enthusiast who lives in the Las
Vegas area, that would be willing to go and check out this car for me?
Let me know as I have targeted the Spitfire as my mid life crisis car and
would really like to get this one if it checks out good.
