I'd like to propose picking up a thread from the Dec. '95 issue of "British
Car" entitled 'The Future of the British Motorcar in America'. The
renaissance of the roadster that started with the Miata is picking up lots
of steam with the introduction of new 2-seater convertibles such as the
Mercedes, BMW, and new MG. This will serve to rekindle and/or create new
interest in the originals. The fact that you can still work on one and that
parts are still/again available are a bonus. (The new cars probably have
more computers than used to put man on the moon in '69.)
