Sue,

It broke on the outer flange. I plan to magna-flux two replacements (25
spline) While I have it apart I will check for any play at the bearings and
carrier.

Warm Regards,

Tracy Drummond

Better rear axle bearings(easy cross at a bearing supply house), fine spline
rather than coarse, better rear location( panhard, watts link), correct
torque on hub nut & the final fix is a support to stiffen the housing
itself. We run a welded rear & 6" rims with slicks. Have FINALLY stopped
breaking axles from a standing start in hillclimbs. Where are you breaking
them & when? Sue
