If your hard wired to the car then keep it charged. If you have the kind that
you charge then it runs for up to five days, charge it fully once a month then
let it "die". With mine I charge it once a month like that, then a week before
an event Fully charge it, let it fully discharge then fully charge it and
leave it on the charger until I put it on the car just before the first
(Friday or Saturday) practice and leave it on the car throughout the weekend.
My transponder is eight years old now, and having followed that routine I get
four full days out of it before it needs a charge again.
Hope this helps..

I'm stumped . . . do I keep this puppy plugged in and fully charged through
the winter or let it cycle dead and wait since it is good for only so many
charges?
