Missing Jogger Is Found Alive

Eddie Meadows, the jogger who has been missing since Thursday, has been
located in a heavily wooded and swampy area on UCF property in surprisingly
good condition despite his four day ordeal.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office received a call at about 10:20 this morning
that the 62-year-old man was located by members of a volunteer search party
near Neptune Drive and Discovery Drive.
Mr. Meadows was reported to be dehydrated and disoriented. He told his
rescuers he could finish his jog if they would get him some water and a candy
bar.
Mr. Meadows was transported to Florida Hospital East by Orange County Fire
Rescue for further evaluation and treatment.
