Hi Erich,
Go through Titles Unlimited or another such method. They work very well and
really do not cost that much (roughly $200 for a Lotus I would imagine).
You can also state whatever price that you paid for the Lotus and pay taxes
on that.
Forget the going through the local DMV crap. Worthless bunch of hoops to
jump through.
