Hello. I read in my local SCCA newsletter that another complication was the
Dale did not know exactly where the in car fire pull was. With the smoke he
could not find it and as result compounded his problem. The point of the
story was that if you ever drive a car that you are unfamiliar with make
sure you know how to remove the steering wheel, undo the belts, remove the
window netting, know where the electrical shut-off and fire pull are
located. And most importantly practice getting out of the car quickly. It
all made sense to me now I just need to find someone who is willing to let
me get behind the wheel of their car so I can put some of this to use!
