When building your vintage racer from a street car, installing the fuel cell
is one of the bigger steps and usually inolves some fabrication and backyard
engineering to get it to all fit. So doing it early makes good sense. Except.
Some vintage organizations are now beginning to look at the manufacture date of
fuel cells and asking that they be replaced if they get too old. So if it is
going to be more than five years between when you put the cell in and when you
start racing the GT6, you might consider holding off for a while on its
installation.
