The SF Region is already running a vintage only race each October, to much
success. A large part of this is the venue (Laguna Seca), and some of it is the
fact that it's basically vintage rules, but not necessarily true vintage cars.
It's "race what you brung", which brings out cars that don't qualify to run with
CSRG or HMSA, the other two Northern California clubs. (Some of the "vintage
cars"
would make even HSR or VARA cringe.....)
The grids are always full, and it makes money for the region, which is the
bottom
line!
