Same experience at Monterey - you cannot look very far to the side, so you
the mirrors are even more important than usual.  I drove a Camaro that had
a small driver door mirror - it would have been better/easier to have a
larger one.

Used the HANS device for the first time at SVRA Watkin Glen event.  Did
not find it overly cumbersome.  Can turn head to see mirrors on both
sides, but no farther.  Bought the optional quick release straps and am
glad I did.

Price still seems high.
