Well guys-
Its time to make a few of the old fiberglass clunkers around the scatter a
little more on the pristine side before the neighbors start droppin of their
old junk in my front yard. The big problem is painting them! What's the best
way of removing old finishes from these jewels? The existing paint runs from
total oxidation, thru just ugly paint to paint split wide open and alligatored.
I just can't see myself da'ing this much fiberglass!
Has anyone had any luck with chemical strippers or bead blasting or the like?
What's the best method of getting the upholstery glue off the raw glass on the
interior?
Is there a good way to smooth out that raw glass without sanding my hands off?
inquiring minds and all that...
