Just checked the www.svra.com website, terrific photos of Savannah by Mr.
Harrington already up! Good shot of Mike Jackson and John Harkness suited up
and sitting around discussing how age and treachery CAN beat youth and
skill... Mike Muckle in his new Lotus S7... Jim Hanna in his new Alfa GTV...
Sean Ryan showing a clean pair of taillights to the competition... Y'all
shoulda been there.
By the way, the weekend marked a triumphant return of one of vintage racing's
oldest friends (the length of his involvement with the sport, not the amount
of grey or lack of his hair!) Gordon L. Jolley. After attending to the
recovery of his wife after serious illness, he was great to see back in the
paddock with his worn out photographers vest and a humongous
telephoto...always a smile on his face!
