Dear Listers,
Although this is not strictly automotive, anyone with a remote interest in
WW II, the Battle of Britain, and Spitfires, (the 12 cylinder RR Merlin
type), should make a must see the wonderful Czech film: The Dark Blue Word.
The aerial scenes are amazing, and the movie is a wonderfully acted drama as
well. It is the WW II equivalent of The Blue Max, a great WW I air battle
masterpiece.
