I tried to get my Armstrong adjustable telescope shocks rebuilt by Apple
several years ago. They declined. Armstrong wouldn't furnish parts for
telescopic shocks. They would only work on lever shocks. I just checed the
web site and lever shocks are the only ones mentioned. However, Tom Budde
has already contacted Peter Caldwell and he will rebuild the Armstrong
adjustables for Tom's recently purchased Zink Z-5 (C-4 to most of you,
incorrectly).
Thank you all for the help. I abandoned the Armstrong adjustables on my
Z-5 last summer, after 32 years of service, because I didn't think they
could be rebuilt. Now I'll get mine rebuilt also as backups.
