Getting a good windscreen for a race car, especially a vintage sports
car, seems to be difficult and expensive. We can pay $200 for a really
nice full width one, or $165 for a nice Brooklands, or we can make one
ourselves, often not to the quality of appearance that we would like.
In keeping with my quest for low prices for high cost items for us
racers (like the Southwick axle and aluminum hubs), I can supply a
professionally made low cost wind deflector, 3" tall and 20" wide,
smoked plastic. I use one on my car.
I can get you one for $50 including shipping to anywhere in the USA.
If you are interested, send me an email and I'll send you a picture. I
need to know how many folks are interested in this.
Finally, if you feel that this list is not an appropriate place for a
message like this, please let me know. I don't want to offend. I'm doing
this to help us get good, low-cost parts, not to make a bundle of money.
