Ok, here some questions.
On eBay is a '67 Corvette. Owner claims it is a Penske Trans Am car.
However, it does not have a roll bar or cage and no documents with it. It
is blue with a Sunoco sticker. It has an Ecklers custom Monza front end and
large hood scoop. Is it a vintage race car?
There was a '63 Corvette a month ago, claiming to have been in Can Am
racing, and had lots of racing parts on it. No cage or documents. Is it a
vintage race car?
There was an F/Prod car, still in SCCA trim. It claimed to have logbooks
and raced since late '60s and had all records. Is it a vintage race car?
There was an H/Prod Bugeye, body only. It claimed to have been raced since
new. Had some documents and logbooks. Is it a vintage race car?
There is an MGB/GT set up to autocross. No history claimed. Is it a
vintage race car?
There is a '67 BMW Glas set up for vintage racing. It claims none were ever
raced in history. Is it a vintage race car?
There is a '62 Jag E-type vintage racer. This vehicle began life as a road
car, which was disassembled and built from scratch as a vintage racer. Only
has HSR logbook. History (as full and complete as possible including
supporting documents) no original racing history. Is it a vintage race
car?
There is a '65 MG Midget Race Car with log books from SCCA, SVRA and VSCDA
dating back to 1972. This car has been a SCCA G production car since 1972.
All log books are available. It has good history being the Chicago region
Continental Challenge Champion 1990, 91, 92 and 94, Central Division
Regional Champion in 1991 and a National Showcase Event Champion in 1993.
The car had been backdated for Vintage racing and up to a year ago was
competing in SVRA and VSCDA events. Is it a vintage race car?
