Dan:

The Florida Regions (2) of SCCA have and active Vintage Program; it is,
perhaps, the oldest SCCA Vintage Program, having started on a very limited
basis in 1978 (we're doing some research on its origins now). I have
devoted some space for it on my web site at http://www.netcom.com/~nobozos/
under the heading of SCCA Vintage. You will find our philosophy, guidelines
of conduct, preparation rules, older newsletters and last year's schedule on
this site. I will be updating the schedule this month.

Basically, we accept period-authentically prepared cars manufactured prior
to 1973. We run as a single group (FV, F5000, Chevron B-16, Corvettes,
Shelby's, Porsches, British bits) at most of the Regional events sanctioned
by either Region. Vintage racing is not a contact sport; we use (and
enforce) the 13/13 rule.

Give the site a look and respond with your comments. Have a great day!
