Calvin,
I think both names are great.
When Barry Brown and I started "racing" in 1989 we chose the name Small Bucks
Racing, in blue lettering, on the white cars. After about two years, a red
slash through Small was added. This logo is on our two Datsun roadsters, our
Z and on our two Jeep tow vehicles.
Now we have entered the Grassroots Motorsports $2001 Challenge with an 86
Ford Ranger, which also is white with the logo.
Our motto is "If it isn't fun and cheap, don't do it" We only race a few
times each year but we always have fun and love the vintage racing people.
We feel if you get too serious or try to spend your way to the front, you
miss all the fun that is always present in mid-pack.
Another lesson we learned - it is hard to hit the apex if faster cars are
always passing you. Dice with similar cars for a 20 minute race and your jaws
will ache from the big smile in the full face helmet!
Fun thoughts and memories on a cold winter night.
