Folks,
"Thicko Thousand"(s) is the name of our fundraising effort that will be a
subset of what the VSCDA (and other organizations) will undertake to help
Jon & Sue through this difficult time.
So, here's what we'll do. You can contribute whatever you're comfortable
with... a little, or a lot. We'll take donations at The Circle City
Finale... in a "specially constructed " Sprite oil pan... made by Paul
"Otis" Fitzsimmons. We'll have the pan in Thicko Village (if we left it out
unattended, some Porsche owner might swipe it...) and then put it in front
of the ThickoTones as we play. In addition to normal contributions from all
you generous folks, the ThickTones will play "requests" for $20 a pop. We
may participate in an auction as well...
Check, cash, or pledge. For those of you that would like to help, but won't
be present, checks , made out to the VSCDA can be mailed to...
