The entry pack and newsletter arrived at the Garage in this afternoons
mail..great newsletter as usual, with a write-up and photos from mid-Ohio by
Bob Harrington, and lots of other news and info. I always read them from
cover to cover. The tentative schedule for the event is also included, and
it looks like all groups have a lot of track time. There is also an
all-Lotus race on Saturday afternoon, and a lot of Formula One action. I
just mailed my entry.. can't miss this one!
Just as last year, Vintage Garage will buy a brick at the Watkins Glen
Motor Racing Research Library for the winner of the prestigious "Car of the
Meet Award" at this event. Please let me know if you plan to attend so I
can get a shot of your car for the write-up afterwards. More often than
not, the winner of the award is a member of the vintage-race list. Previous
winners of the prize will also be asked to participate in the selection.
