A great quote. And to that end....Many vintage racers choose to be the
present "caretaker" of their race cars...so that those spectators who can
still recall the sights, sounds, and scent of racing's past....can enjoy
vintage motorsport to the fullest!

I have continuously felt (in my sixteen yrs. of vintage racing) that.....the
cars are still the stars!

There are enough organizations and venues for all "vintage racers" to find a
perfect niche to race with/at. The key is to understand who you are and how
you want to race and with what. It's also up to the vintage race
organizations to set the rules and to enforce them. Any organization or
business is only as strong as its leadership, and real success is usually
predicated on that note....along with a little bit of luck! Why should
vintage racing be any different?
