Track time was not limited any more than at other events. We had 5 sessions each
about 25 minutes of track time - actually our Sunday race was a little shorter
but
only because of the speed of the leading F1 car! Some sessions were red flagged
but
that was "our" fault not the organisers.
I agree that GTP and Group C cars got a bargain but that is because they were
featured this weekend. If organisers want to run feature races then those groups
will get more track time whether they are Group C or Bug Eye Sprites.
Your comment about "needs of the few" is also maybe off beam. There were 60 odd
entrants in the GTP/Grp C group - hardly "needs of the few". I think this is
just
vintage racing maturing - if your particular needs were not met this weekend
there
are many other vintage race events with different formats.
Personally I would rather have a 266 entrant event than a 4-500 one.
