Steven,
I too suffer from the disease. I have most R & T back to about 53, SCG 62 to 68
( the good Titus years), Sports Car 58-68 and 78-up, and lots of other short
run mags and british stuff. What I truely regret not getting to keep now are
the Motoring News from the mid-70s that were passed on to me but I had to
forward them on to another friend. I have only about a dozen issues from the
74-76 period when Modus was in existence, which is my latest toy. They built
F3, SV, F Atl and a couple of F2 cars and were quite competitve for such a
short lived company. Jo Marquart then went on to found Argo. Motoring News was
a weekly newspaper format similar to the old Competition Press and Autoweek, of
which I also have the ones I bought off the newstand 35 years ago.
On your Alpine: Since this car was based out of Columbus, where are you
located? I'm in Columbus and would be happy to let you copy pertinent stuff
from my old SCG if this would help, if you're near here too.

I am looking for the set of 1964 and 1965 Sports Car Graphic.
Actually, my goal is to find for documentation on Don's Sesslar's Sunbeam
Alpine which won the 1964 F-Production National Championship. Dan
Carmichael drove this car with a number of successes in 1965.
I recently bought this car and it is in good original condition as it has
been parked in a garage since 1968.
I have found two ads that feature the car. One was a Sunbeam ad (inner
cover of May 65, SCG) and the other was the Champion Spark Plug ad.
Thanks
