Hi All,

The following is a strange request. I have an old Porsche that originally
came with a tool kit. Mine, of course didn't, but over the years I have
assembled all but three items:

Two, red, wood-handled screwdrivers that look like old Stanley brand (but
don't say "made in USA" on them)

and one Messko brand tire guage.

The reason I'm writing is that the Messko tire guage was available in all
the period magazines and from all the "foreign" speed equipment vendors
though the sixties. Its possible an enthusiast might have one even if they
never saw a Porsche. Its about three inches long, nickel-plated, and
comprised of a round scale with a little valve tube (all cast as one unit).
Some say "Balloon" on them in addition to "Messko". It's shaped just like
a Dragaer guage which was also popular in Road and Track.

The red screwdrivers are fantacyland because they have all probably been
relegated to opening paint cans someplace. But the tire guage was pretty
common for its day.

Please let me know if you turn something up...

Thanks very much,

Clark
