EnFord used the same Diff in many of it's cars, Don't worry, count the teeth 
of the ring and pinion and devide the smaller into the larger for the ratio. 
What makes you think it's NOT the original? If You MUST have an original, 
I'll sell you one or whatever else you need for a 68 Cortina from my parts 
car.
