To be absolutely accurate, if this was the smae #98 Coupe that was
at the historics, it is not a "contination car" nor was it built
by Shelby.....
It was built on a original roadster CSX chassis of a car that
burned in the Santa Barbara fire, and was constructed by
McCluskey. He has built several of these.
Reference latest issue of Victory Lane. Until I read this article
I also assumed it was a "continuation car"...but it also makes
more sense that McCluskey would build them than Shelby. He's probably
built more by now than Shelby Anerican ever did..;-)
