Thanks to good timing, I was able to spend my slack-time weekend at Laguna
Seca on Oct 16 & 17. Enjoyed watching the FV group's racing and
camaraderie. Got me interested in one.
Anyone know of eligibility in various eastcoast groups. (SVRA is pre-'69)
Also, having "lunched" a stock VW engine back in '72 or so, what are the
weak points? What should I be wary of? Which are the best for reliability
& speed. Who are good engine builders? (I had a box of various pieces left
after rebuilding the engine in the '70 Bug. Not a good sign. But, it ran!)
Finally, anyone selling one that fits the ultimate description? I DON"T
want a project. Have enough of those. (Still haven't found the source of
the B's vibration. The CS needs assembly. The Alfa ...)
Guess I could tow the FV with the '66B and race both. (Yes, he really is
crazy!)
Thanks in advance for your responses.

'66 MGB street/race, and no, it won't be the tow car. The fuel cell won't
allow room for a hitch.
