I learned one more impressive thing about this sim this weekend from my 7
year old grandson.
He has become a pretty good driver with all of the assists turned on even
though he can hardly reach the pedals. When I went to my office to check on
him Sunday morning I found he was off-roading like Ivan The Ironman Stewart
outside the Armco on the Spa circuit. He discovered that he could drive off
course between some of the hay bales closing off an access road and then he
could drive off road as long as he stayed within 500 yards or so of the
course.
I was further impressed by the complexity of the sim and the creativity of
children who do not feel confined by rules.
