Florence, Italy

I am planning to visit my daughter who is studying in Florence, Italy. I
know that Florence holds about as many art treasures as any place on earth,
and I will certainly take advantage of this, but that is not where my major
interest lies. Can anyone suggest any interesting automotive spots within a
hundred miles or so of Florence? Museums, shops, or even private collectors
who enjoy being visited come to mind as possibilities. Any ideas?
