Don,
Realize the lawyers have taken over the world, hence their statement of
liability disclaimer. You also might want to check if the manufacturer has
done any redesign work on their product including cheapening the materials,
this is the 90's you know. Lots of things are a mere shadow of what they
were. I am entertained by some of the exclusionary statements on some of
the products bought for racing. The latest I have run into is a disclaimer
of any liability for the quick release steering wheel setup I just
installed on a vintage racer I have.

As far as wheels I have seen many folks with Triumphs go the route of
Panasports. I know they are from across the wrong ocean, but they do look
attractive. Might be worth a look. I believe one of the best places to look
is K-Speed in State College, Pa. Usually a good stock, good service,
reasonable pricing and knowlegeable folks to talk to on the other end. (a
refreshing change in this day and age!)

If you find old wheels be very cautious as to their condition. Many wheels
have aged badly over the years and cars and drivers have suffered as a
result.

So now I must put in a plug for the SVRA event in June at Mid-Ohio. It
would be great to have you join us in the MG vs Triumph feature race. If
you are unfamiliar with Mid-Ohio let me know. This will be a great event
and really give you a flavor of how a vintage event should be. Safe and fun!

No warranty regarding the first statements have been expressed or implied.
Any defamation cases to be referred to my attorney as soon as he is
released.

Best regards.
