Non taken. And my intention was NOT to paint ALL SCCA club racers with the
same brush as well. I was just using 1 individual to make a point. In our
area, SCCA does not do vintage. But from what I have seen and read
elsewhere, SCCA Vintage has the same vintage spirit that the vintage clubs
in our area display.

Curt, I am with you 100%. The key word is VINTAGE. The guy I referred to in
my post is not a vintage driver, and as an active club racer, developed a
mind set that is not in keeping with the vintage spirit. After listening to
him, Tony and I were concerned that this individual would never develope
the vintage spirit. Those are the types of guys who should not participate
in the Challenge.
