Dee,

I use Carbon-Kevlar on the front disc brakes of my 1964 MGB vintage racer.  It
makes the brakes incredibly effective.  I didn't spring for the Carbon-Kevlar
linings on the rear drums and that may have been the right choice.  MGBs
sometimes have a rear wheel lock up problem and I'm not experiencing that with
my car.  Just go deep into the corners, stand on the peddle like it was ABS
and haul down the speed.  Mine cost about $110 for the front pads.  With some
80% of braking on the front, the rears are probably not cost effective.  The
pads are lasting well and I will replace with the same material.
