I agree totally Jack. I ran a few events in 94 & 95 in a FV with HSR. Twice I placed high enough to be awarded a medal (2nd both times). I didn't even stay to pick them up. The fun of racing and the atmosphere were all I was looking for in return for the money and time I put out. Awards are for the people who need their egos stroked. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Tom Shirley * * Sale Creek, TN (just north of "FRIGID" Chattanooga) * * 72 Datsun 510 #18 (the race car) 71 MG Midget * * Visit the Nickel & Dime Racing website at * * http://www.Geocities.com/MotorCity/Speedway/1080 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * |
