Our Mini's have alway run without sway bars, however, Chris Gross who owned
and drove one of them to the D/S ARRC championship in 1971 swears that they
worked well. He drove his old car at Lime Rock this year and felt the sway
bars would help. I am not convinced, but have located his old bars that have
been in the loft for about ten years. I may give 'em a try this year. The
mounting holes are still there in the subframe, so it should be pretty easy to
do.
I like the back soft. I drill 3/8" holes in the donuts.
It is hard to beat Vizzards book for a starting point.
