While you may not see a temperature reduction for your oil, keep in mind that redline race oil still works at temperatures up to 275+ degrees, how much do you trust that guage? I use redline 40w race oil in my sprite motors as per my engine mans' advice..........................I trust him (Joe Huffaker) with his motor, why question him on oil......... BTW: In my former Austin Healey 3000 mklll I had a shifting problem going into 2nd gear until the tranny got warmed up, installed redline mtl and never had the problem again (1988 to last year) then I sold it................... |
