Glad you asked George.
This weekend, October 9, 10, 11 and 12 the VSCDA will hold it's second
annual Childrens Museum Vintage Grand Prix at Indianapolis Raceway Park.
This is very popular and successsful event, with cars coming from all over
the country to race and have fun. IRP is an excellent facility for both the
competitors and the spectators. In addition, this event is one of the
biggest, if not the biggest, fundraiser for the Indy Childrens Museum. You
have to feel real good about that. Special events are held for the
children, including rides in race cars. So, bring the kids!
There will be racing action on all days, with the feature races on Sunday.
Yes...sunday.. SUNday .... SUNDAY!!!
Team Thicko Sprites will be there, along with numerous other TT vintage
racers. TT member Jim Donato is serving up some of the best MeatBall
sandwiches(among other tasty Italian cuisine)all weekend in the TT pits.
Our pits are always open to interested spectators, so if in the area, please
stop in and say Hi.
New this year, will be Team Thicko removable tattoos. WST says he is
getting these for the kids...but I already have had some calls from "not so
young" interested people. After all, can you think of a better pick up line
than.."Hey babe..wanna see my TT tat?" Whoa! In like Flin.
So, come on out to IRP this weekend, introduce yourself in the Team Thicko
pits, pick up a Tattoo and support the Indy Childrens Museum.
