Age & Treachery Racing Australia enjoyed a fantastic race weekend at the
HSRCA's annual Eastern Creek historic meeting. Our successes included:
* First win for the Bowin P6F
* New lap record =
* First ever team 1-2 finish (twice!)
* New pre-72 lap record
* Stephen Brook winning the last race from the back of the grid
The previous record at the track was a 1.45.29 when I towed Bob Morrow's
Elfin over the line on the last lap last year in our Lotus 61MX. This ye=

Alan Smart in the same car reset the record for pre-72 cars to 1.44.97. =
Justin Lambeth in the P6F ended up lowering the overall record for Histor=
ic
FF to 1.42.82. For the record the last race was won by Mike Glynn in a Lo=
la
T400 F5000 with a fastest lap of 1.35.02. Justin's best moment of the
weekend? "Going round the outside of a F5000 and giggling to myself all
the way!"
In the last race Justin had a DNF and Stephen Brook started from the back=
of the grid in Tony Harper's Elwyn and still won the class. His best lap=
of 1.43.21just failed to best Justin's new record.
