I prefer to consider Yoko's exciting in the rain.
My Hoosiers are a bit less exciting but still enough to drive the heart
rate at fairly low speeds.
When rain is forecast, I carry a set of tires with the best gutters I
can find and run them with a big load of air in 'em. My current rain
tires are a set of left over BFG Comp TA's. When they wear out I'll go
to the local tire store and start looking at tread patterns.
Here in Florida, rain means a lot of water. If your local area has
drizzles as opposed to frog stranglers, something like the Hoosiers or
Dunlops might be fine.
