All this talk about Green Flag DRIVING Assn's Laguna date reminded

Also, ThunderHill has a *much* more relaxed sound
requirement, though we do prefer cars have a muffler
of some kind.....and we would love to see more *real*
vintage cars. This event is open to all, and we have
a reputation for SAFETY and FUN.
The Nor Cal Shelby club proudly presents it's Spring Sprint Driver's School
and Open Track event at Thunderhill Park in Willows, California. This
track event combines a Driver's School for first-timers with the fun of a
Nor Cal Shelby Club Open Track. Many participants favor our Thunderhill
events because of the emphasis on socializing and off-track fun. Come join
the fun and find out what a Do-Dah is!
The Spring Sprint will feature a half-day Driver's School followed by one
and one-half days of conventional Nor Cal Shelby Club Open Track. A Friday
afternoon registration and tech inspection session will be held at the Best
Western Golden Pheasant Inn in Willows. This will be done in conjunction
with a barbeque and pool party. An optional track walk of Thunderhill Park
and classroom chalk talk session will also be held Friday night. Saturday
morning will be dedicated to on-track driver's school activities (see
Driver's School description below). After lunch on Saturday, the event
will shift into high-gear as the open track portion of the weekend begins.
Operating hours on Saturday afternoon will be extended to ensure that each
run group receives at least three sessions. Sunday will be a regular three
run-group open track day.
