Diva built small sports-racers in a small South London garage in the 1960's.
They were sold as kits. Their most popular model used 997cc Ford engines,
although some had 1650cc Ford pushrod mills, which allowed them to run with
Lotus Elans in English club racing. Typical English club racer construction:
tube frame, indepenent all around with Lotus Elite diff. Body was a small
coupe, and weight was only 880 lb. In 1965 they built a semi-monoque
mid-engined car with Hillman Imp running gear. For more info, see if you can
find a book called The Worlds Racing Cars by M.L Twite, third edition (1966).
