Hey folks-
I raced with Bill Ames a few times over the last three years- at least he got
in some more fun with the cars he built befor the end. I saw him last in July
at the Vintage Triumph Register in Albany, NY.
I'd like to post a bit about Bill to the Peerless & Warwick Web pages (One
of his Ambro specials is based on a Peerless chassis, and can be seen racing on
the west coast), as well as sending some notes off to Brit-car magazine.
If any of you who knew him could send me a bit more about him & his cars, I'd
appreciate it.
Thanks
