Re: Race track changes

Following the recent purchase or Sears Point by Speedway Motor Sports, I
understand that there are plans progressing quickly into reality (like
within 12 months) to extend and update the track.  There is no mention
of the nature of any changes in the Sears Point home page.

I imagine that the new owners want to make it more hospitable/safer to
the Nascar/Truck racing industry.

Anyone have any concrete facts?
