Just in case I am NOT the last to discover this Web site, I thought I'd
pass along a source for Vintage Tyres on the Web:
<www.ftech.net/~vintage/index.html>
will take you to Vintage Tyre Supplies Limited, a company based at the
National Motor Museum in Hampshire (and co-founded by Lord Montague of
Beaulieu in 1962, according to their history). They offer quite a
comprehensive range of vintage rubber -- "crossply" and radial as well
as sizes and types for veteran cars. They also offer racing tires from
Michelin and Dunlop, including modern and "vintage" sizes and types, and
a complete range of Dunlop wire wheels, splines and knockoffs.
They have a number of overseas agents, including (in the US) Universal
Tire in PA and British Wire Wheel in CA.
FWIW....
