The latest issue of the MG Vintage Racers Newsletter, edited by Mark Palmer,
253 Bridle Path Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017, carried the following:
The 1996 Focus Event will be at The Meadow Brook Historic Races and Concours
d'Elegance. The races will be held Friday, August 2 through Sunday, August 4
at the Waterford Hills Raceway, Clarkston, MI. There will be a separate all
MG race, perhaps even two races if there are enough entries.
The Concours Committee has already decided that MG will be the featured marque
for the show. The Race Committee has not yet decided on a featured marque.
More details will follow in later issues.
Sounds like a great event, hope to be there. I enjoyed the 94 Collier Cup Show
at Watkins Glen with almost 60 MGs.Mark has a great idea in having one event
each year designated as the MG Vintage Racers Focus Event. He hopes to attract
40 - 50 MGs to this show.
