I have just come from the SVRA August event at Pocono Raceway where the
featured marque was Allard. We had a great weekend and for a change, good
weather.
One rumor that was being passed was that the VSCCA was considering (after no
less than 16 MGA's showed up at Lime Rock in June for the joint VSCCA/Jag
club event) either banning MGAs from the club or not letting in any new MGAs.
Having an MGA as my only vintage race car, I am quite concerned. I would
also be concerned if I was currently preparing a car with the hope of running
it in the VSCCA. So far no official discussions have taken place but for
what its worth, this is current on the rumor mill.
