I have only attached the MESSAGE, I have NOT attached the WORM, which
is the executable file named UPDATE662.exe !!!!
This is a VERY REAL WORM that is now propagating the internet and the
message IS DEFINITELY NOT FROM Microsoft !!! Note that the HTML
version of this TEXT message masques the obviously fake "t*****.com"
sender's address. You probably won't see it if you're using outlook
or an HTML e-mail program.
If you get something in your in box that resembles this message,
DELETE IMMEDIATELY and MAKE SURE THAT IT DOESN'T get saved in your
Trash folder!
This is NO JOKE! Microsoft does NOT send out updates via EMAIL. IF
you want information on what this critter does, check out some
legitimate anti-virus manufacturer web sites like Symantec.com,
Trend.com, McAfee.com, Kaspersky.com, etc. Do a search on:
