Side windows, easy up hard down

On a 2500M:

Got my window winder stuff in the doors today. I notice that both windows go
up great, but are a fair bit harder to get down (more force). Unless of course
I help by pushing on the glass on the back end of the window.

Is this just one of the "Features" of these cars ? I'm sure it can be fixed
but that will be a winter project down the road.
