Are the hydralic hoses from the brake line to the wheels on a 2500M
standard Triumph TR6? Mine are 27 years old, and I think one has finally
sprung a small leak. In any case I want to replace them. Does anyone
have strong feelings one way or the other regarding the advantages of
metal braided hoses?
Thanks,

Hello,
I really like the braided stainless. Helps provide a nice firm brake pedal.
(and looks good doing it)
Yesterday the set for my Griffith arrived. I even had the clutch line made.
Paragon Performance. www.paragonperformance.com These guys have made
lines for every TVR I've owned. In fact I've sent them original lines from a
Vixen, Vixen 2500, 2500M, and Griffith 200, so they already have all the
important specs. They have the TVR lines listed on their web page, and these
guys, without a doubt, make the nicest braided stainless brake lines I have
seen. Their DOT approved lines have a Kevlar sheathing under the outer
stainless braiding.
To me it's a no-brainer. Stainless works better, looks better, and doesn't
cost that much more than rubber.
